The effectiveness of a classified ads website depends on the amount of visitors or traffic the website has.  More traffic means more exposure to your advertisements posted.  So what is the best way to get traffic to a website?  Provide something useful to your visitors for free.  Because of the free service, more and more people will visit the website using the free service and in effect, more people can view your posted items.  Providing a free service gives the most advantages to our users.

ADflakes rely on 3rd party advertisements like Google Adsense for revenues.  There is also a possibility that we accept paid advertising from other parties when offered.  With these current and possible income streams, we can operate ADflakes for free for everyone.

ADflakes is very easy to use. Users of ADflakes are classified into 2 types: one who post advertisements called Advertiser and the other who views and responds to advertisement whom we will call as Client.  You can be either an Advertiser or a Client or both.

The Advertiser will create an advertisement post in ADflakes.  The Client will discover the advertisement through any of the following:

• browsing/searching the website
• through the search engines
• RSS feeds
• from other websites syndicating content from ADflakes
• links shared by visitors to other people

The Client will respond to the advertisement through any of the following:

• posting messages to the advertisement page
• sending private message to the advertisement owner
• other means of communication through the contact details specified by the advertisement owner

Through the different communication channels, the Advertiser and Client can discuss and close the transactions on their own.  ADflakes has no control over the transaction between the 2 parties.  ADflakes only provide the means for the 2 parties to meet and communicate.
